Why this matters
The FinTech Germany Award has built a strong reputation since its inception in 2016 as a credible yardstick for fintech innovation in Germany. I am proud to be part of the jury which is composed of seasoned fintech investors, lawyers, bankers, and innovation leaders, ensuring rigorous evaluation of contenders. In 2025, the winners reflect several emerging themes:
Regulatory-compliance innovation: Regpitās win in the Seed category highlights how even very early-stage startups are tackling AML/KYC/sanctions-tech in sophisticated ways.
Tokenisation & Web3 edge: With Tokenize.it and Blockpit being recognised, the intersection of DLT/tokenisation and fintech is clearly gaining traction.
Sustainability as finance imperative: Recognising 3rd-eyes analytics underlines how ESG, sustainable finance and advisory tech are converging.
Internationalisation & scale: The Most Promising International category and growth-stage winners remind us that German fintech is not just domestic ā it competes globally.
Take-aways
For those building or advising digital-asset / fintech ventures: alignment with regulatory, tokenisation and sustainability trends is increasingly decisive.
For compliance professionals and AML / digital-asset advisors (including our work at siedler.legal): the winners offer case-studies of how regulation + innovation can converge. For example, Regpit shows compliance can be framed as competitive advantageĀ rather than just a cost burden.
For event & network participants (like our DARTE series): this award exemplifies the importance of ecosystem recognition, visibility and cross-pollination of startup-scaleup networks, VCs, corporates and regulators.
Congratulations once againĀ to all the winners of the FinTech Germany Award 2025. May their success inspire further innovation, deeper compliance thinking, and stronger bridges between digital-assets, fintech and regulation.
